We're having a new front door fitted tomorrow morning.

When they rang to give us the installation date they said they'd be here between 8-8.30 and i asked them to make it later because i have two kids to get ready for school and my oldest has Autism and its REALLY important his morning routine isn't disturbed.

I also have two cats in the house who i will need to shut away for the duration.

They guy said fine, they'd be there about 10.

I got a call at 8.30pm this evening while i was out (DH didnt get to the phone in time) and a message they'll be here between 8-8.30.

They didnt leave a number, their help desk doesn't open until 9am.

AIBU to refuse to let them in tomorrow morning and make them wait until i have got back from taking the kids to school and refer them to the conversation i had with their installation booking people?

Oh don't delete agnes' comment. Leave it there so we all know what kind of a person they are.

Can imagine agnes54 is one of the 'we never had autism in my day, it's just naughty children/bad parenting' twat brigade.

She clearly doesn't take criticism well.

Skullyton · 19/10/2015 13:00

Skully, it was just some stupid comment, not even clever enough to get points for that!

Skullyton · 19/10/2015 13:10
Hmm

there's always one!

I have more things to think about now, like how the hell i put my 9wk old kitten down and go do some housework.

I'm sure there's laws about not moving where a sleeping kitten is concerned!

Yes there's also a rule that if you mention your cute kitten we need a photo. Hop to it!

SurlyCue · 19/10/2015 15:11

Missed agnes post.

OP kittens' rights to snooze are enshrined in law. Wink
