6 mo old will be up, but guzzle while you can and enjoy!

Fatmomma99 · 13/10/2015 00:01

...although, child care with a hangover is grim!

guajiraguantanamera · 13/10/2015 00:02

We usually get him up about 1am for a final feed and that is him until 8/9am so fingers crossed!

Have experienced it once (on holiday in fairness!) but never again. Absolutely awful.

Well my ds is not crawling yet, so changing nappies is still (relatively) easy..
However, it was a KFC for dinner tonight. But all washings have been done and put away! So I will enjoy this as my reward Wink

I'd do the same, I get proper rage faced when dp goes into my lovely, tidy kitchen at night to make something messy and crumby, and uses loads of knives and plates.. Aaaarhh!
Do you think your ds is likely to wake again, or is that you all settled for the night?

What? What lunacy is this? You wake him up? Why? My 10m old has never slept through, wakes at least twice a night, OH would have me sectioned if I woke him up for a feed. Grin

Thefitfatty · 13/10/2015 08:20

Oh memories. I would send you all a bottle if I could. Don't worry ladies, it gets easier and eventually they do start to sleep through. Till then wine does keep the edge off. Grin

YANBU

guajiraguantanamera · 13/10/2015 09:44

Morning all! No fuzzy head this morning, all good Grin
FatalFemme , he used to sleep through the night, then at 4 months he started waking for a feed, usually around 3/4am! So we decided we will feed him at 12/1am and that usually takes him through til about 8/9am.
In fairness my dp usually waits up and does the 1am feed while I slouch off to bed, then I get up with him in the mornings and let dp lie in when he's not working Smile

Yay, one more down! What are you giving for the pain? We use calpol and baby nurofen and it seems to work but you've probably tried everything!
Gah, just made myself a coffee and the milk has turned! Angry

I don't have much experience of that to offer any advice, I stopped breastfeeding early on , but maybe after a few difficult nights he will start getting used to you not being there..?
We put ds into his cot in his room at 5 wks. He has slept through pretty much since then so maybe sleeping in their own room helps them start to settle a bit..? Sorry I sound a bit rambly, not had my first coffee yet! Mol
