Dental treatment under sedation

I'm having this done soon and I'm terrified, aibu? Has anyone else had this done, was it ok?
Please share some experiences! I'm worrying myself sick
I went to my normal dentist about a month ago and made a complete fool of myself with my weeping and wailing, went back to work looking like Alice Cooper and spent the rest of the day traumatised, hence the referral for sedation

Just to update had this done at three pm today and was fabulous!
No pain or stress , was completely unaware I had anything done
It was amazing!

Glad it was ok for you.
Hope you didn't get too much of a 'crash' when it wore off?

I had sedation for egg donation and it was quite strange, but not unpleasant in the slightest, just odd not to be able to remember much.

FindoGask · 18/11/2015 20:28

ah, I see you've done it - well done!

Isn't the stuff fab. Had it once and actually crave that feeling again...,sigh!

God, I LOVED having a tooth out while sedated.

Like you I was very nervous before hand but it was bloody brilliant.

I was a bit out of it for a good 24 hours after, so be aware.

Would do it again at the drop of a hat.

Hope you recover ok

Went straight to bed and slept like a log, feel ok this morn and going to work, two more appointments to go early next near
I cannot believe how fabulous that stuff is, I don't have low anxiety about going back, they were so lovely and patient with me

What about sedation if you are breastfeeding?
