What the fucking fuck? Yes it's my fault that I obviously didn't read the menu properly.. I sort of glanced at it didn't really register. Who the hell serves bangers and mash with anything but gravy or beans?
The ssausages were raw and the Ratatouille was ALL over it all so I couldn't even just scrape it off. It smelt and tasted rank. And I like Ratatouille!

It's ruined my day and I've cried. Alot.

Disclaimer; I am pregnant and incandescent with rage at my shit lunch and very hormonal. I'm sure I will look back and laugh at my snotty, crying, heaving self in a few months.

This was a small independent place in a tiny village you've all probably never heard of. I suppose I can't post their name on a public website. They've recently been taken over (their food always was shit!) and I was hoping for better times this time. Next time I'll tell my mum I WILL PICK THE RESTAURANT.

disgusting! The only thing that should touch bangers an mash is onion gravy. The bangers should also (in my book) be sticking out of the the mash "three-bears-style"

Cheese and potato pie with beans is a favourite of mine confused. It is basically a big pile of cheesy mash and beans.

Op Apple ratatouille is an abomination. I do like proper ratatouille with sausages and mash though (that's basically what my usual sausage casserole is).

The sausages were raw, the meal was disgusting....but you said nothing and paid? More fool you, ye sap!

But my pile of cheese and onion mash was in pastry with chips.

I'm having Ratatouille with tuna steak for dinner; it's cooking as I type but I have it as a side dish, wouldn't sling it all over everything. Never heard of apple Ratatouille, is it actually Ratatouille, or something they made up themselves. Surely Ratatouille is a vegetable stew, not some nasty apple concoction.

I definitely don't put mine in pastry and what is effectively mash and chips is a very odd combo sparkling. Saying that when I first made my husband the cheese and potato pie (cheesy mash with onions, more cheese and breadcrumbs making a crispy crust on the top) he moaned that it should have pastry. It was almost grounds for divorce.

He needs to get down to the local Hungry Horse Purple. He can have a blue/red slushy to go with it. There was a huge jug of gravy too.

Last time I went to hungry horse I had a macaroni cheese burger. It was macaroni cheese formed into a burger shape (I'm not thinking about how), breadcrumbed and deep fried. Oh my goodness it was good. I felt dirty afterwards.

Apple ratatouille? What the in the name of Granny Smith is that?!!

Is it something like tomatoes, pepper, courgettes and apples? Sounds all sorts of wrongness. I think I could have coped with a surprise appearance of non apple ratatouille with bangers and mash but if it'd have been applaized I'd have looked like this . I would also have accepted apple not in ratatouille, or anywhere near ratatouille.

DH has cooked me meat feast pizza and has silently laughed at the ridiculous, hormonal mess I've been all afternoon, bastard as a consolation. It was ok. But it was not sausage, mash and gravy.

That is the ONLY way to serve B&M.
I find it easier to cut the bangers in half, so they stick in better and for greater comedy value

Name and shame OP, name and shame. I just looked up the Waitrose apple ratatouille and eugh. Pork and apple sausages with mash and gravy would have been perfectly acceptable, or normal sausages with apple sauce or even red cabbage with apple. WTAF at apple ratatouille though. I don't like tomato-based sauces with mash, feels wrong.

Add some ratatouille ProcrastinatorGeneral, that'll make it healthier.
