The dinner party...! Can't wait to see what happens.

I know it's been a bit far fetched, but having read lots of threads on MN Relationships, I do believe blokes (and possibly women) do behave like this when almost discovered.

Anyone else dying to see what happens? Reckon she'll call them out at the table???

Hmmmmmmm well, i guess that's how it usually happens in real life tho. Women left to pick up the pieces as the man drives off with young tart washing his hands of all responsibility. Not sure what to think of it???!!!

Shit ending. This seems to keep happening in modern drama, writers can't tie up a story satisfactorily.

Messy and painful, and then life has to go on one way or another. I'm glad it ended like that - much more true to life.

But as Cheesy said, it's much more true to life. And she didn't give up on being a doctor in the end. In real life & TV tho I never can fathom out how/why men can just abandon their children (first hand experience of that!). One of life's great questions...

The phrase hell hath no fury like a women scorned came tomy mind.

The set up at the dinner table reminded me of a scenario with my cheating exh. He told his girlfriend that he was in Dubai for a week looking for a flat for her and her son and a job for himself.

Meanwhile he was on a two week family holiday in Orlando. He didn't know that we knew.

When we arranged family photos, we made sure we right near a famous landmark. Sleeping beauty's castle, cypress gardens, universal studios and he was slap bang in the middle of them, grinning like a Cheshire cat....and so were we!

I saved this episode for today, managed to get both the toddler and baby to sleep and I have to agree I wasted an hour.

So disappointing!!
