In the oven?
Tried to be all organised and made it in advance forgetting that my cooking knowledge is zero and I don't know how long to put in the oven for Blush
It's in a medium sized pyrex dish is that's important.

Are you going to reheat the pasta and the sauce or just the sauce?

Cadenza1818 · 06/10/2015 16:45

Why oven? Usually reheat mine in microwave for about 3mins, or on hob in a saucepan.until boiling. As long as it's piping hot you'll be fine.

KinkyAfro · 06/10/2015 16:47

I wouldn't do it in the oven either, on the hob for me. Is there pasta already in it?

vienna1981 · 06/10/2015 16:50

Two or three minutes in the microwave. Stir then another two minutes in the microwave should do it. Otherwise, in a pan on the hob for twenty to twenty-five minutes, depending on how much you want the sauce to reduce.

ilovechristmas123 · 06/10/2015 16:56

yabu to not know something basic like that

sorry

teeththief · 06/10/2015 17:11

Just shove it in a pan and reheat on the hob

I also agree with ilovechristmas

Dinobab · 06/10/2015 17:12

OK hob it is! Thanks
My mum used to do it in the oven that's why I thought that's what you did. Confused
Ilovechristmas- I know, but cooking the bologbaise was hard enough for me, I haven't lived on my own long and I'm thick at cooking.

What's wrong with Google?! Shock

wowfudge · 06/10/2015 17:14

180 degrees or gas mark 4 for 25-30 mins. You might want to cover the top with foil. OP might not have a microwave or limited hob space.

wowfudge · 06/10/2015 17:15

Bloody X post

TheFairyCaravan · 06/10/2015 17:16

Oh, yes! Think of all the threads that could be done away with if only people would Google! Hmm

The woman only asked a question, ffs!

Weathergames · 06/10/2015 17:19

Would have been easier for the OP to Google - but then I have an irrational hatred of any opportunity to Google being missed esp by friends on FB Smile

ilovechristmas123 · 06/10/2015 17:25

your not thick im sure, maybe an idea to buy a good basic cookery book, that in turn will give you a bit of confidence

im sure a few mn'ers can recommend one, thats if you want to learn a few basics Smile

OrangeFluff · 06/10/2015 17:27

You don't need to leave it on the hob for 20-25 mins if its already cooked and you're just reheating. Put it in a pan with a splash of extra water, bring to the boil on the hob and then simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes to make sure its hot all the way through.

ilovechristmas123 · 06/10/2015 17:29

i will say that this is a good example of schools and home needing to educates teens about cooking/safety/prep etc

what we see as really simple tasks are a moutain to people that havent been taught

ilovechristmas123 · 06/10/2015 17:30

Weathergames · 06/10/2015 17:33

Reheat until it's piping hot through.

"what we see as really simple tasks are a moutain to people that havent been taught"

I was shocked at how poor the cookery lessons were when my kids were at school, the one where they made lasagne consisted of two jars of Dolmio sauce (one white, one red), a few sheets of pasta and a bit of mince or some veg. Making a fruit pie involved shop bought pastry and a tin of pie filling. One friend of my daughter had no idea of how do prepare stuff as simple as beans on toast even at the age of 16.
