Pregnancy related.
Have been on mumsnet for a while now and something I've noticed had really begun to to grind my gears. People posting in the wrong/inappropriate forums. For example, IMO questions like "am I pregnant" or "thinking about starting a family" belong in the preconception board not pregnancy. Likewise, posts about abortion and losses have their appropriate boards. (I only mention this as I was a paranoid, nervous wreck at the start of my pregnancy because of all the negative posts.) and again posts about labour/delivery should be in the childbirth board. Again, just my opinion, but it really annoys me.

i'd just be happy with well titled threads

not:

Would i be unreasonable to...
What would you do...
So annoyed with DM....
I know I am being unreasonable but....
To be concerned about this?

I click on it, and then wait for the load (especially if in the car) and then 'oh, its that thread, and its a bit boring'

The thing is, if I post about an illness on general health there's one or two replies. Reword it into an aibu and there's loads of help as more people frequent that board.

See BIWI'0 spost above

I'm with reboot... I am mostly on AIBU and there's SO many threads of people saying "I posted this on xxx and got no response, so I'm posting here for traffic".

So when I had a health issue, AIBU is where I posted. And I got loads and loads of helpful responses. So guess where I'll post next time.

BTW, Worra is MN royalty, because she just is.

I don't mind where you post as I watch active threads mainly

Looking at some AIBU threads I think a topic call "IANBU- affirmative answer only" would be a good addition to MN.

cuntycowfacemonkey · 02/10/2015 15:07

Agree there are too many topics. I'm not sifting through every sodding talk topic to find the most appropriate only to find I've wasted my time posting in some MN graveyard.

Enough with the endless frigging topics. Although what really pisses me off is that it's been requested endlessly for MNHQ to sort out the topics in the SN section and they never have yet they've managed to add a gazillion pointless ones to the main board
