Its completely rational but I really dislike Brian McFadden a ridiculous amount- no apparent reason other than things I've read. To a lesser extent I also really dislike olly murs because if an article I read about him years ago...do you do the same- hold personal grudges against people you've never actually met

Oh children's shows are a whole rich source of irrational hate figures. Having had 5 kids so been forced to sit through years of mindless kids' TV pap, I developed a particularly virulent hatred of various people and cartoons. I detest Homer and Bart Simpson. (My kids, now they are older, only detest Marge). I loved that episode they went to prison and had a miserable time but cried when they were let out.

And I used to loathe the hatchet faced Edie McCready (reminds me of Carol McWhatsit now I think of it) on Balashittingmory. And Josie Jump. She reminded me of the creepy PE teachers we had at school in the 70s.

The totally most creepy thing was that elderly man that hung around with a playgroup full of toddlers, The Tweenies. wtf? There am I telling my kids not to speak to dodgy looking adults and there's the BBC promoting creepy men who have no reason to hang round nurseries, spending all day at em.

Never minded the Teletubbies. They were somehow more benign.

My youngest two liked really rubbish American shows like Drake & Josh or Jake and Dross as I used to call it. And I bloody Carly - some bratty little stage school madam. Luckily they're teenagers now and the interminable football on TV is marginally more bearable than giant red dogs and Mexican explorers.
