Its completely rational but I really dislike Brian McFadden a ridiculous amount- no apparent reason other than things I've read. To a lesser extent I also really dislike olly murs because if an article I read about him years ago...do you do the same- hold personal grudges against people you've never actually met Smile

OP posts:
tangledhairnocomb · 03/10/2015 20:24

After last night's HIGNFY, Richard Osman is definitely a knob and a not funny one either

Elllicam · 03/10/2015 20:43

Denise Van Outen. Her parenting book was dire, self aggrandising claptrap.

Dieu · 03/10/2015 20:45

I challenge y'all to name a nice Jeremy, either on the telly or in your personal lives. It is the name of twats.

I can't stand Ronnie Mitchell in Eastenders, and how she goes running to males to help her out of her latest twattish dilemma. Deal with it yourself woman.

Sharon from the same programme looks like Miss Piggy and will forever have an 80s look, no matter how she styles herself. Why is she so top heavy when her legs are so slim?

I LOATHE James Corden.

Dieu · 03/10/2015 20:46

And I would be able to watch a film with Keira Knightley, as her face is so slappably pouty and smug.

tilliebob · 03/10/2015 20:46

I can't stick

Carol Vorderman
David Beckham
Daniel O'Donnell
Jeremy Clarkson

Amongst others. They haven't personally done anything to me, they just get on my tits!

Frizzcat · 03/10/2015 20:55

MN has gone to the dogs, what about Katie Mellua?
Add to that
Lorraine Kelly - fucking floral frocks on JD Williams advert
Ruth Langsford
Eamon Holmes
BBC breakfast team, except Sian Williams when she was there. Why does that Louise woman always look like she's about to keel over laughing. Naga Munchetty I find off hand and dismissive. Bill Turnbull should be writing for the Daily Mail (like the sports and business ones though)
Myleene fucking Klass - for everything, the bottom lip pout, self-publicity, I thought what she did about the other parents at her children's school was despicable.
Frank Skinner - will never get over his shite opinion of women in the 90's
Chris Evans
Marian Carey
Towie - all of them
MIC - all of them
Any paid professional of x factor or Britains got fuck all. Actually anything to do with Simon Cowell
Meghan Trainer - "all the right junk in all the right places" - fuck off love
Morriessy - have a Mars bar and cheer the fuck up.
Susannah Reid
Liam Gallagher
Paul McCartney
John Lennon (posthumously)
Peter Andre
Brian Mcfadden
Cameron Diaz - I'm tired of you're dancing in every film

This is very cathartic

SiencynArsecandle · 03/10/2015 21:06

Katherine Jenkins - could slap her silly face
Olly Murs
Barbara feckin Windsor
Bruce Forsyth
Susanna Reid
Jeremy Clarkson
Andy Murray
Shane Richie
Lenny Henry

Chippednailvarnish · 03/10/2015 21:08

Jamie Cullum's hair.

Iadmit · 03/10/2015 21:20

Ooo I have a couple skim read so not sure if already mentioned ....Nadia Sawalah. The woman evokes a rage in me that I've never had for another being. I have no idea why, my OH thinks she's pretty inoffensive, but since when did she become a fucking chef?

Eamon Holmes. Not at all irrational I guess, the man's a total twat and mentioned many times on this thread

Lewis Hamilton...oh man, what a knob! He thinks he's 'propa gangsta' with his mahoosive gold chains and ridiculous clothes. Added to that, he is possibly one of the most boring sports personalities out there....apart from my last person......

Mo Farrah. I'm sure he is a genuinely nice man but, oh hell, I fall asleep whenever he appears on TV. And THAT advert 'Practice, protein...practice, protein' oh just fuck off!

SladeGreen · 03/10/2015 21:48

Bruce Forsyth. I have a real ingrained hatred of him and I can't explain it.

Someone upthread mentioned Chris Moyles - I used to think he was a prick but after meeting him my opinion changed. He was very friendly and polite

riverboat1 · 03/10/2015 22:16

Fern Cotton, Konnie Huq, Tess Daly...all set my teeth on edge when they come on telly.

Alan Carr and Harry Hill both seem tragically unfunny to me, which is a problem given that funny is their job.

JoffreyBaratheon · 03/10/2015 22:17

I adore Mo Farah in his advert and how he can't say it... "Corn Mints!" Brilliant. So will defend him from the irrational haters.

I'm not sure if it's the fact it's a programme about baking that makes me hate them (let's face it watching people bake competitively is like watching people shit competitively) but I detest Mel and Sue and Mary Berry. I dunno the man's nae cos I never watch it. But I detest the trailers. I haven't forgotten Mary Berry in the 1970s in those afternoon TV shows where she'd pretend to ring a doorbell and go into this studio set where a load of WI types would sit round baking, sewing and doing wifey things. Baking is tedious crap I do because I'm too poor to buy puddings. It's a loathsome chore not fun. Anyone who thinks it's fun has too much time/money on their hands. When Sue Perkins then turned up on the Game of Thrones fan show I was bloody gutted as her gurning face was the last thing I wanted to see. A sort of female Frankie Howerd. And I bet she knows bugger all about GoT.

TiredButFineODFOJ · 03/10/2015 23:15

Corn mints haaaaaa Joffrey, I love Mo.
Didn't RTFT but Anthea Turner had a whole thread of her own, she really fucks me off and has done since I was a child.

Hesalovernotabiter · 03/10/2015 23:27

Robbie Williams. He doesn't even need to speak, let alone sing, it's his walk that really annoys me!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/10/2015 00:17

There's a few presenters on QVC (not celebrities but on my TV loads Blush )

One who prattles on about the excercise regime she follows, the food she eats/doesn't eat, the "so funny" "it was hilarious" things her girlfriends do "they're not. and they don't get any funnier with being repeated. twenty times)

They ones who say "I;m a small/ I'm a size 12"
The feck you are. Stop wearing Clothes Too Small.
You aren't really selling them too me love.

Wear your size.

And there's one who's all "tee hee hee" but I bet she'd turn on a sixpence and be a right cow IRL.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/10/2015 00:22

Harry Hill...being funny is their job

Harry Hill is also a qualified Doctor.

So Harry, you took a University place (that someone else could've had) and being 51 ish, you would;ve had it paid for. Before the student loans and all.
But you decide "Oh, I'm fed up being a Dr, I'll jack it all in. all my training fir nought and try and be funny"

Hmm
fluffywol · 04/10/2015 00:29

Oh hell, I have too many to mention! I've not read the full thread but has anyone said Matt Baker? He's just so... nice. I can't stand the One Show, him and that thicko Alex Jones make me want to throw a brick at the TV. Oh, and Chris 'Smug Twat' Evans is nearly as bad.

Ricky Gervais is another smug twat. Just fuck off, Gervais.

Another Ricky - Tomlinson. He gives me the screaming abdabs, makes my skin crawl.

Busyworkingmum71 · 04/10/2015 00:51

Oh so many

Katie Hopkins
Fiona Phillips
Nicky Minaj (DD loves her, I'd like to smack her in the face)
Alan Carr
Claudia Winkleman
Jo Wiley smug "I know everything about every popular musician ever" attitude
Katie Price
Anyone famous from reality TV -Towie, Geordie Shore, Big Brother etc (except Ben Fogle I'd have his babies)
Catherine whatshername, married Michael Douglas
Michael Douglas
Judy Dench (met her many many years ago - she was rude and dismissive, disliked her ever since)

Sure I can think if some more...

ComposHatComesBack · 04/10/2015 01:28

70s and the alternative would have been to remain in a career he was unhappy in or ill suited for? I doubt Harry Hill is the first junior Doctor to decide it wasn't for them and I'd imagine he's paid for the cost of his training several times over with his comedy earnings.

mrselizabethdarcy · 04/10/2015 05:01

Gary Barlow
Jo Wiley
Steve Wright
Sarah Millican
Keith Knightley
Paddy McGuinness
Teds Daley and her cheating twat husband

Oh, and carol the weather lady on BBC breakfast. Don't know why she just gets on my tits

Roussette · 04/10/2015 08:49

Robbie Williams just reminds me of Norman Wisdom. Anyone who is old like me will remember Norman like this... cheeky chappy with a funny walk, RW off to a T and very irritating.

Lighthearted-Do you have an irrational hatred/dislike of a celebrity too?
MintChocAddict · 04/10/2015 09:43

Can't believe Michelle Mone hasn't been mentioned yet (or Lady Mone of Mayfair as she's now known) Very best friend of 'call me Dave' dontcha know. Fond of living her life through Twitter, referring to people as muppets, and generally reminding people of what a successful businesswoman she is. Has decided not to live in Scotland anymore because she seems to believe that the haters oppose her anti independence stance (which is why she's been rewarded with seat in the HOL) and are generally jealous of her success. In reality most people have realised that she's a self obsessed loudmouth pain in the arse. Comes across as not very bright (tweeting pics from the taxpayer funded government car anyone?) and totally lacking in class (see aforementioned living your life through Twitter). So cheerio from Scotland Michelle and don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out!

m0therofdragons · 04/10/2015 09:53

Tess daly. No reason but her face annoys me. As soon as she's on TV I automatically scrunch my face up into a "what does she look like? " face. It's really unfair as she's probably lovely and is far prettier than me but she still irritates me.
