Its completely rational but I really dislike Brian McFadden a ridiculous amount- no apparent reason other than things I've read. To a lesser extent I also really dislike olly murs because if an article I read about him years ago...do you do the same- hold personal grudges against people you've never actually met Smile

Do t find Ricky Gervais funny, and defiantly not think he's witty.

To be he's say something insulting about someone/thing (and it's acceptable because he doesn't approve it like the said someone/thing) then grin/grimace while he's waiting for the appreciation of his wit.

I hid all posts shared from him on Facebook. I understand the awfulness if animal cruelty. But he strikes me as the self righteous sort that thinks it's ok to harm people who don't share his views.

Mind you he was decidedly unfunny before that anyway.

CherylTunt · 29/09/2015 12:05

Eddie Redmayne. Even just typing his name has given me the shivers!

Oh my god, ME TOO. I thought I was alone in my loathing. I find him completely unwatchable. Was really pissed off when I heard he'd been cast in the Harry Potter spin-off film as now I won't be able to watch it Angry
WHY DOES HE KEEP GETTING CAST IN THINGS!

Also really dislike Kate Beckinsale and Elle MacPherson.

CherylTunt · 29/09/2015 12:06

I read an article recently all about the phenomenon that is Hathahating (irrational hatred of Anne Hathaway). It's very common, apparently Grin

Moln · 29/09/2015 12:07

*approve or like. Not approve it like

CheesyDibbles · 29/09/2015 12:08

Liz Hurley in the Austin Powers films.
Keith Lemon
Helen Mirren (controversial). So smug.

AnneofGreenTables · 29/09/2015 12:09

All of these are complete (ir)rational:

Christian Bale
Katherine Jenkins
Sienna Miller
Russell Crowe
Simon Cowell
Tess Daly and

The vile, vile and thrice vile (Cheryl) Tweedy

On the other hand I luffs Sara Cox, Keira Knightly and Victoria Beckham

Phew - I feel better for that

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 29/09/2015 12:11

After watching this morning (im off sick and going stir crazy dont hold it against me)- how did I forget Gok Wan? Whats the point of this utter clown?

MyNameIsRonnieFuckingPickering · 29/09/2015 12:12

I think us humanoids are far more suspicious of people who seemly overly nice (Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift) than we are of grumpy sods.

Rightly so.

AnneofGreenTables · 29/09/2015 12:12

Oh and Danny Dyer and Spangles Kaplinsky

RonniePickering · 29/09/2015 12:26

Justin Fletcher and his 'spotttttttty baaaaaag' ahhh fucking no.

Miley Cyrus, I'd love to kick her in the balls.

Joey fucking Essex, pretending to be a numb cunt.

I don't know her name, but the actress who was in Big Daddy and the first episode of the new Grey's anatomy. She speaks like a little girl on helium and it gives me the fucking rage.

Lilifer · 29/09/2015 12:42

dont have time to read the whole thread but has anyone mentioned the following:

NATALIE IMBRUGLIA
IMELDA MAY (Irish singer - biggest PITA ever!)
STEPHEN FRY (National Treasure my Toosh!)
MERYL STREET (A total Diva by all accounts - i have good sources)

regenerationfez · 29/09/2015 12:48

I agree with everyone who said Eddie Redmayne. I watched Jupiter Ascending on a plane. He should have got his Oscar taken baway juyst for that! And Cheryl I agree with you about the Harry Potter thing. Unless a remarkable transformation takes place, that a massive bit of miscasting. Apparently JK Rowling was desperate for him to do it, so he didn't have to audition.

regenerationfez · 29/09/2015 12:50

Also Henry Cavill, even though I've never seen any of his films! Whenever I see him in interviews, I just take a dislike. Completely irrational

Lilifer · 29/09/2015 13:07

oh and Stella McCartney !

Clawdy · 29/09/2015 13:16

DD worked for Eurostar years ago and served coffee to Paul McCartney on the train. She was so nervous she spilt coffee all over the seat and splashed his jacket....He helped her to clear it up and joked about it. Our family have loved him ever since!!

noeffingidea · 29/09/2015 13:17

I used to strongly dislike Cilla Black, but obviously she's gone now so I've moved on.
Jimmy savile was my other big hate, but that was completely justified.
I dislike quite a few celebrities, but whether it's irrational or not, I can't really say.
I don't like Peter Andre but that's mainly because of mysterious girl.
Katy Perry - I don't hate her or anything but I find her so bland and boring. Her records are like white noise to me, she evens looks boring (though pretty) and I just don't see why people like her.

Wannabestepfordwife · 29/09/2015 14:38

Kym Marsh
Mark "I'm an abusive arsehole" Wright
Dan Osborne- how can a man who threatens to stab the mother of his child be given airtime/ magazine space
Michelle Keegan- used to take the piss out of herself using fake tan now claims her tangerine skin is down to Spanish ancestry. Don't sell young girls the idea your natural when your not
Victoria Coren Mitchell- insufferable
Paul McCartney- I'm sure Heather Mills was telling the truth in some of their divorce

Scremersford · 29/09/2015 14:57

Hathahating I was surprised to meet so many other women who dislike Anne Hathaway. I don't know what it is, she seems such a nice, inoffensive woman. She is just deeply irritating. Especially when she got that very short hair cut and her overly large mouth seemed bigger than ever, and all the publicity kept telling us how astonishingly beautiful she was.

But I still don't hate her enough to put her in a room alone with that nasty Rottweiler Ricky Gervais. Thinking of Ricky Gervais almost makes me feel protective of poor little Anne.

ML29 · 29/09/2015 15:07

Hugh Grant, ugh ! and his annoying ex Liz Hurley

noeffingidea · 29/09/2015 15:08

I've even seen hate for Anne Hathaway on a gay man's forum. I don't really know who she is, so can't comment.

noeffingidea · 29/09/2015 15:14

I've just thought of another one. Tyra Banks. I've only seen her on ANTM.but she seems so narcisstic to me.
And I certainly don't hate her (far from it) but I always sense something 'off' about Rhianna.

LastOneDancing · 29/09/2015 15:14

Robbie Williams. My dislike really hit it's peak when he made his wife's labour all about him.

I'm sure he'd be gutted if he knew Smile

paulapompom · 29/09/2015 15:17

On a positive note I have found someone else who likes Ricky Gervais so that makes. . . Well just two of us Grin

hellsbellsmelons · 29/09/2015 15:31

Nope - I like Ricky as well.
How could you not like the Office or Extras?
Genius!!

Alfieisnoisy · 29/09/2015 17:03

Likewise the entire presenting team of HeartFM. It's like the radio equivilant of one of those 60p women's magazines you get in the doctor's.

I must throw in a good word for Martin n Sue who do the morning show on HeartSX though. Primarily because Sue has a filthy laugh and I reckon would be fab company on a night out.
