I am wondering if 26 would be too old to have the full uni experience. By that I mean the partying, societies, extracurriculars, any other fun experiences that I might not have thought of.

I went at 38, there was a 70 year old on another course at the same time.

@ Oyster Smile

I actually work with loads of 18 year olds (retail), and seem to be baby-faced enough to pass as one of them/get invited to stuff.

My experience has been that I don't think I'd mind going for a group drink with them, but I'd kind of feel like an old creep listening in on their personal conversations/adding them on Facebook/developing any in-depth friendships etc?

Even an 18 year old with very similar interests to me is still an 18 year old.
