DD turns 1 tomorrow. I've just been watching her sleep, marvelling at how in just a year my tiny baby has become such a wonderful, funny little person. And thinking of how much I have changed in that time too. AIBU to have shed a small tear? DP thinks I'm bonkers I think!

I cry at far less sentimental things than that (I can't watch Don't Tell the Bride because it makes me cry), so YANBU

YANBU at all! When I look back at photos of my DS as a toddler I feel a sharp stabbing pain and sometimes a huge wave of sadness that those magical days are gone!

He's obviously a heartless bastard Grin

YANBU, i shed tears earlier because DS was throwing peas and sweetcorn in his mouth like he had been doing it for years, made me realise how quickly he is growing, and sad that I barely remember these times with DD because I was too obsessed with doing it all right instead of stopping to notice it and enjoy it.

Time goes way too quick, absorb it all and cry as much as you want Smile

Not BU at all, you spend so much of their childhood tired or narky that those beautiful moments just take your breath away because it hits home how quickly time is going by.

DS1 is 10 soon and I still go in and watch him sleep occasionally and marvel at it all. I feel a bit like the creepy woman in Love You Forever, though, so try not to do it too often.
