To not be happy at seeing a frog in the toilet.

How on earth could it have got there. I thought I was seeing things, a smallish frog clinging to the insides of the toilet. It's a downstairs toilet, can they come up through the pipes? I really don't like frogs, DH had to rescue it and put it in ndn's garden because they have a pond....but what the heck was it doing in my toilet?

I found a dried out frog under the settee once - that was nice!

A neighbour's child was over playing in our garden with the DCs in the summer and she says to me, "look what I found" I look up and she is holding a frog by its toe up in the air.

I tried to contain myself but I dislike frogs, so I told her to throw it over the fence. Then we watched it hop away.

If there was one in the toilet I would be screaming like a twat. I don't think DH would be much use either.

Rats I hate the bastards. We once rented a farm cottage and they were everywhere. (I'm from farming stock and I was petrified).

Phantom I'm bad enough with frogs, but the thought of a rat coming out of the loo is beyond horrific. That's the stuff of nightmares.

Sanity, I grew up in rural Queensland and we kept a fish net and a bucket beside the loo for the purpose of fishing out frogs before going about our business.

I really miss them! DS thinks the very idea is hilarious.

sliceofsoup I know what you mean about trying to contain yourself, I'm the same, but you have to act brave don't you if kids are around, when you really feel like screaming like a banshee. Grin
