Wibu to ask DH...

16 month dc is sick high temp sore ear and throat I've had about 5 hour sleep all weekend DH is coming in off nightshirt wibu to ask him to sit up with dc while I had an hour to sleep. He will still get an 8/9 hour sleep today once I get up

I am very lucky with my parents I don't and never have done night shifts but work or not being a parent comes first and I don't see why all must fall on me because H works shifts I still work mon to fri full time. Unfortunately this is an ongoing argument in this household Hmm

Posted too soon...The problem being he never gets up a bit earlier to spend family time but he does when a big football game is on Angry but that's a whole other thread thanks for the replies

So now you have a perfect example of how much his refusal puts upon other people. For the sake of him staying awake for one hour you, your kids, your mum (and dad?) have had their weekend turned upside down... for one hour of his time with his kids.

You need to sit down and have that discussion again. Calmly and assertively. He can't really think that it is OK to put upon others to raise his kids, can he?
