I'm due to go to a christening today but I've just been sick. I've been feeling pretty exhausted this week and quite often I will be sick just once when I'm over-tired, but the mum would kill me if I went, wouldn't she?

:(

I think it's a call only you know yourself well enough to make.

I've often started the day with a good retch when I haven't had enough sleep meself btw. If I genuinely thought that was all it was, it wouldn't stop me going anywhere.

As long as you don't think it's a stomach bug, and you feel ok, I think you'll be fine. It's the dreaded lurgy that you don't want to be passing around.

Don't go, you might have a bit of a virus or something. I wouldn't want you coming if I were the mum of the baby, as you might pass it on to her precious newborn.

I think it's selfish to go visiting a newborn when you've just been throwing up and it's not pregnancy related throwing up.
