To think lots of men are googling wombats?

Hi all,

Mostly anywhere I go, men shout crude things, stare at me, or whisper to other men and smile at me. I can't go out for a simple lunch with a friend without them reminding me men are bloody looking!

My issue is I believe I need some form of counselling, or perhaps to speak to my GP. I'm in no way creating this thread to brag, quite the opposite. I'm a poorly lady so the last thing on my mind is taking gratification from googling wombats.

I most certainly don't have big titties, I'm a bloody A/B cup! I never dress provocatively, just my usual work dresses and sensible heels at work, and I dress down of course at weekends.

I know women get sick of men talking to their tits instead of their faces, but I can't even blame it on that.

It feels really demoralising and I just feel like crawling up into a ball and never showing my face again Sad

Am I being over sensitive? It's the Constance of it that gets me down so much. I know it's not all in my head because my own DP, friends and Mum have noticed it.

Go to Ireland. I was there last week. The older men are wonderful flirts, very sweet and polite. There's a lot of looking from under the eyelashes, can't describe it but its absolutely adorable.

Gruntfuttock · 12/09/2015 14:57

Well, mrstweefromtweesville they sound very coy indeed. I can't say I'd find that very attractive either to be honest.

For all those who were wondering - the Grapefruit Technique

  • There used to be giant wombats. An ancestor of today??s wombats was a giant the size of a rhinoceros that lived during the Ice Age. It is believed that ancient Aborigines hunted the giant wombat.
TiggyD · 12/09/2015 19:38
  • The world??s oldest wombat recently celebrated his 29th birthday. Patrick the wombat, who makes his home at Ballarat Wildlife Park in southeastern Australia, turned 29 last year, making him the oldest known wombat. He??s also one of the biggest, weighing in at 88 pounds.
CassieBearRawr · 12/09/2015 20:53

Tiggy seems suspiciously knowledgeable about wombats.

patterkiller · 12/09/2015 20:59

Have I had more wine than I thought?

PHANTOMnamechanger · 12/09/2015 21:22

does anyone else remember the wombat called Fatso that was on an Aussie daytime sap called, I think 'a country practice' - about a vet and a dr in a will they wont they romance

PHANTOMnamechanger · 12/09/2015 21:22

soap, not sap!

LaurieMarlow · 12/09/2015 21:31

I googled dragon butter. Couldn't help myself, it's like the keys in bluebeard's castle. Wasn't that bad - expecting something filthier.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 12/09/2015 22:02

I resisted the temptation to google the Doritos story until a few minutes ago, How I wish I could turn back time, or at least develop some willpower. Just as well I don't like them that much as they are now permanently off the menu

EElisavetaOfBelsornia · 12/09/2015 22:12

Is the photo up thread of Patrick, Tiggy?
