I wonder if the Queen listens to them and thinks OFFS, or whatever the Queens version would be?

I think it was fairly obvious that the Queen and Philip cannot abide Nicola Sturgeon!

I highly doubt they cannot stand the media. After all, the media perpetuate the myth that the royal family have an relevance in this day and age. Think about it. What would actually happen to them if the media weren't constantly blowing smoke up their arses?

She has lived a life of luxury and entitlement and managed to stay alive - that is basically what is being celebrated. Well done for staying alive Queenie

I wonder if they even notice all the bollocks spouted in their name. Their life is very insulated by layers of courtiers and staff. Remember the tale about the Queen Mum unveiling a statue of the controversial 'Bomber' Harris. The poor public opinion required a chat from her press people. Turned out she didn't understand the concept of public opinion. She believed everything she did was popular because she's the Queen Mum.

We will never know, at least whilst the Queen is alive. The Queen keeps her counsel almost always.

I think much of the affection and support for the monarchy is for the Queen herself.
