To be filled with disgust at savage attack in front of children

In broad daylight where children including my dgds were playing. I didn't see it but my Dgds saw it and were very upset. Two lads brawling, one was stamping on the others head. I'm appalled that they saw this. I know this goes on in town centres across the country but in a residential arrested where children are playing?

arrested? area!

Erm it doesn't sound like they were brawling, as much as one was attacking the other. Its a pretty horrific thing to happen full stop, not sure why it would be fine if it was in town on a Saturday night?

Awful for kids to witness, probably worse for the guy having his head kicked in.

mellowheart · 07/09/2015 13:41

Yes I agree, brawling was the wrong word to use. It's certainly not fine to happen in town centres, but it is common place, it happens all the time, that was what I meant.

Did you call the police?

Pootles2010 · 07/09/2015 13:42

Its horrible, you can't expect the sort of person doing that to give a monkeys if children might see. Really nasty, awful person.

mellowheart · 07/09/2015 13:43

I should add,it did start off as a brawl according to all the kids who witnessed it.

Um. I think your outrage is a bit misplaced tbh.

What about the poor guy having his head kicked in?

mellowheart · 07/09/2015 13:44

The police were called by several people, all over by the time they got there.

I'm concerned about the lad on the ground getting his head kicked in.

MissFitt68 · 07/09/2015 13:46

Nobody co it's a crime and checks to see if children might witness it first!

How silly

But yes, poor guy getting hurt. I'd be more concerned about him tbh

mellowheart · 07/09/2015 13:49

Yes Saucy I feel outrage for him too obviously. My disgust at the attack is probably more on his behalf than my dgc witnessing it.

But let's not forget these two started fighting in front of loads of kids playing out. That's how lads fight these days, no holds barred I'm afraid.

There was loads of sympathy for the poor lad, that's why dgc were so upset, seeing him hurt.
