They're DD and DS and get on okay. I know they're old enough to organise themselves but don't want them just looking at thier phones all weekend.

What is there for them to do besides cycling, swimming and eating?

As they are adults why not get them to look at the website and see if it is their sort of thing? My dd who is 21 would spend all weekend in bed on her laptop. But as she works and goes to uni I take the view that if that is what she wants to do its up to here. Now, if I took her to N ewYork for a weekend different story

I wouldn't bother really
They're adults now & would be happier going away with their mates surely ?

Centreparcs is great for kids and great for parties of young adults - but young adults with their parents (as I assume you are)? Not at all.

Mine are late teens - they enjoy badminton, tennis, squash, snooker, table tennis while they are there. They tend to spend the majority of the day in the pool though. The phone signal is poor at Elveden so phone use is limited Smile

Hello AWayToGo

I have been away to centreparcs (aged 22) with my bf and his friend (21,21) and his mum and dad.

The parents pretty much left us to entertain ourselves during the day, although they did play minigolf with us. We spent our time just swimming, walking around and going for evening meals together - we all really enjoyed it .

I know i'd have been bored it was for more than a long weekend though and when we looked at the activities as were walking around, it was mainly just children who were taking part.

Just been with older teens - not much aimed at their age group; your DC would need to enjoy sport and country walks to get the most out of it. But all the extra activities are really expensive.

FuryFowler · 06/09/2015 13:12

It's a lot more expensive for older kids/teens/young adults as you have to pay for many of the activities. Whereas a younger child is usually just happy biking, swimming and play ground!

Wifi / mobile connection is not great so they'll have fun looking at their phones! Tbh, it was one of the things I really liked about CP Smile
