I am a republican so not keen on whole royalty machine but felt need to add:

1. Queen was good looking when young. Better looking than Kate in my (subjective) opinion.

1. I think William ought to keep his salary as it would give more credence/ gravitas to the idea he has a job. Pro rated for the time he actually works. Maybe he could give up some of the public money instead so that good causes don't loose out

But have no views about pregnancy, and doubt she is pregnant.

For what it's worth I always think Kate seems very happy. Like she doesn't mind all the crap that comes with royalty. Which is a good job really .
