Tyga, (it pains me to type that) has released a new song. Bearing in mind that Kylie Jenner has only just turned 18, AIBU to find these lyrics from it disturbing?

Alongside with the fact she stars in the video with him, it just feels icky, like he is trying to cash in on having a relationship with a girl when she was underage. I know that the Kardashians do everything for the media but surely Kylie was totally failed by Kris and Bruce/Caitlyn?

No I dont see happiness either she has morphed into a kim lookalike its creepy poor kid by the time she is KK age nobody will care about the kardashians and she will be clinging on

Her parents probably knew about it, but im sure they would rather her be safe than rebel against strict rules.
The amount of teenagers I know who go out on a rampage as soon as they turn legal because of their parents strictness is quite upsetting.

I think people can be quite harsh about he Kardashians, they aren't perfect, but not every family is.

I feel a bit 'meh' about it.

While the age of consent there is 18, she has been financially independent for several years and owned her home for about a year.

I find it odd that in some states in America you can learn to drive at 16, own your own home etc but not be trusted to make a decision to have sex.

I hate that sort of music, but their lives are all about making money and getting in the public eye. So it was to be expected.

I don't like any of them (I only know the above because my mum watches the programme) but I also don't judge young women. She has been brought up a certain way and is living up to that. I don't believe he was abusing her, although the law there may disagree with me.

I think a lot of song lyrics are a bit 'eww' when you lists to them properly and consider the personal situation of the writer.
I can't get in a flap about a early 20 something and a 17/18 year old though.
I was 17 when DH and I got together he was 26, 15 years and 2 children later we are still very happy and very equal, certainly I have never felt abused or groomed in anyway. I think teenagers grow up very quickly and there is a big difference between 14/15 and 17/18.

17 and 26 is a bit weird imo, 26 is only 2 years younger than my dp now and he wouldn't have touched a 17 yr old at 21 let alone 26. I think grown men that go for girls under 18 are weird.

Absolutely your opinion regina but you are looking at abstract numbers and not individual people.

I know I shall never look back at my life and wish I'd picked someone else, there are plenty of couples close in age where one turns out to be an abusive arsehole. I'd rather have my 'weird' but loving, considerate, husband than one of them.

I don't care if she's 18 or 28 tbh. The song lyrics are vile and it shows what a complete lack of respect he has for her, that would be my main concern.

Wether her parents have failed her I don't know but it seems like they have been more interested in their own lives than hers.

Regina I find your comment offensive. I was 17 and dh was 28 we have been together 17 years and have 3 children. It wasn't weird at all. He met me in a club and I was working full time, it wasn't until we had been together 9 months and madly in love that I said my 18th was coming up. He nearly passed out that I was so young he honestly thought I was early twenties.

I think they know their target market, unfortunately there are a lot of dim as pig shit people out there who will look up to a young man and women exploiting their sexual relations to make money.

The Kardashians are rather vile - so many children and not even one academically inclined. And despite all the supposed (enhanced) looks, they seem to struggle to attract moderately good looking, mentally stable men.

What I will say for them is that do all seem to share genes which predispose to taking surgery and cosmetic enhancement well.

She's so trashy and skanky and he looks dirty like he needs a good scrub, they make a perfect match. The entire family is a circus. And they love it.

The lyrics are disgusting regardless of his girlfriend's age.

It worries me that men like Tyga aren't in a secure facility of some kind.
