To think that "4th Power" on the X factor were terrible?

I don't actually watch X Factor but was intrigued when everyone was raving about the girl band 4th Power on FB so I watched their audition online. I don't want to sound mean but it was 3 minutes of horrendous screeching like someone had sat on a bag of cats. And the judges and presenters were flailing their limbs about like buffoons for some reason. I can't believe Cowell didn't even point out how out of tune they were. Is this really the pinnacle of talent on these shoes today?

Agreed that I was totally distracted by disappearing Cheryl :( she looks very ill.

Dh mentioned that no way would a man that underweight be on a Saturday night tv show and I think he is absolutely right

What a fucking racket. On several levels.

I watched the last half of it and didn't see anyone who I thought could actually sing, apart from that 17 year old girl.

Louise has star quality. I think that SC imported the Little Mix Philipinos in himself,so that he's got some soundalikes for when Little Mix are out of the country.

Cheryl just looked ill. Her face was skeletal. Not good.

I like them - ok the singing wasn't fantastic and its really not my cup of tea but they were good and sassy and sexy. I predict they will win though

they were quite open about having done other auditions though.

I thought they looked and sounded great. They were in time, their choreography wasn't too bad and they're not that bad singers.

You obviously haven't been to many live gigs. Most singers sound totally different live.

I know X Factor is hugely faked and they've been inviting people to take part for years, but is it me or is are they not even bothering to pretend that it isn't anymore?

All the acts are so well trained, that's what gets me. You get the odd one like the student with the weirdly high voice who doesn't seem to have been in stage school since 4, but that's it. I don't believe anyone on this hasn't been semi-discovered already before.
