See the stickied thread from Justine re hackers and go to the end. The Troll has just dumped a load of MN usernames and passwords on twitter.

It matters for the folk who are using the same username and password across multiple sites...

It does. And now would be a very very very good time to change their passwords to something more secure.

Everyone should change their password anyway. You have no idea if the hacker is withholding some info - he may have more usernames / passwords that he hasn't posted yet.

Stop scoffing at people having weak passwords.

As well as the odd password one there are loads of harder ones.

The only thing they have in common is the fact they are all published on Twitter.....

Highlighting the fact that it's only as secure as the next when the site doesn't encrypt them.

I didn't see it on Twitter but to be fair all I searched for was Mumsnet and a list.

TravellingLemon the only email addresses on there are the Mumsnet domain ones, otherwise it's usernames, passwords and IP addresses.

I can see someone's email on that list, it's a yahoo one. I guess it depends on whether you used your email or your username to log in.
