I can't take the bickering much more! DD is nearly 7 and DS is nearly 5 and it seems to be their new life pursuit to get mummy to go batshit crazy every day. We are skint at the moment so I can't afford more than one 'thing' per week (free cinema yesterday with MacDonalds after) and no amount of ignoring/seperating/chucking in the garden seems to work. I'm really looking forward to going to work for three hours today so I don't have to listen to 'MUUUUUUM, HE'S LOOKING AT ME!!!!!!' anymore. We go to the local park eveyday to burn off some energy, and they have seen their local friends regularly.
Apologies for the rant.

Is anyone else having this?

Roll on September!!

CalmYourself loving the idea of recording tantrums!

littlejohnny I definately appreciate what you mean. Its hard to see the wood for the trees when they are constantly at each others throats. Swings and roundabouts!

Another 4 weeks, we go back 8th September and broke up on the 7th July.

I am finding it hard too! Loving the lack of school run but finding it hard to fit work in (I work when they are at school/preschool) and think of things to fill the time.

Bettercallsaul1 · 11/08/2015 17:21

EatDessertFirst - So you managed to have a forest walk and a trip to the park today? Things are looking up!

littlejohnnydory · 11/08/2015 17:29

Home Educator here too Tessa but one child in school. I'd be looking forward to the quieter times if it wasn't for huge sadness that dd will be going back to school (she wants to).

Murfles · 11/08/2015 17:30

I've been in and out of work for the past two weeks. I've lost count of the parents passing through the school grounds looking wistfully into the windows as they pass through. Given the weather in Scotland over the holidays I can't blame them!

Aeroflotgirl · 11/08/2015 17:37

Yes yes yes. Ds 3, preschool broke up on 17 July, he is starting a new preschool with gradual introduction, so won't start properly until mid September, add in dd8 who has ASD and the fighting between the two. I need Cake Brew constantly.

Bettercallsaul1 · 11/08/2015 17:47

four - the OP is feeling depressed enough without you adding to her woes. Grin

fourtothedozen · 11/08/2015 17:50
