To think you should smile for wedding photos rather than pull stupid faces

One of my facebook friends has just shared a large amount of photos of a wedding she attended at the weekend. I don't know if they had an official photographer or not and , but the ones she shared were awful. The bride was either pouting or pulling funny faces, the worse one was of her sticking her tongue out, the guests were doing the same. They were also doing that weird gangster thing whatever it is with their hands. It just looked so innapropiate especially with them all dressed up in their wedding finery. Oh and the pouting, even the kids were doing that. Is it me getting old and boring? I mean what's up with just smiling. Confused

My wedding photos are horrible. Me and dh look like we got rejected from a Spandau ballet video shoot and are planning on gatecrashing Howard Jones 21st. We never look at them cause it traumatized the dog so much the last time I love the running away from dinosaur ones, I would have a whole album of them.

I know it takes weeks to get the official photos back but i cant see them being that much different. The ones that were shared on FB were I think taken while the official ones were being taken, because there were big group gatherings that had obviously been set up for the photographer. But the bride cant moan, she was pulling strange faces as well.
