Am I being a bit naive or is this really not news? I suppose I'm thinking 'this is what some of the older generation do'? I don't think Id be screaming and hysterical like the mother in the story.
Maybe I'm a tad neglectful and would be fine with all and sundry kissing my children......thoughts please!

Oooh I'd have thought "that's a bit odd" and given him a verrry wide berth in future Smile

Hmm tongues though, I might have lashed out....

Poor old guy Hmm

I kiss babies on their chubby-wubby feet

But yes too many threats of violence being bandied about

Sorry, I missed out that the teenager in the Mirror article had autism.

Earlier this week my lovely dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. It breaks my heart that due to this horrible degenerative disease that he does not deserve, he may do something innocently meant but socially inappropriate and be slapped around the head or pushed over.

I agree about the aggression - no need for it if a firm "I'd rather you didn't kiss my baby" would suffice.

Because let's face it if someone was willing to push over or slap an old pensioner they shouldn't have a problem with just firmly telling them to not touch their baby!
