Last week I went to bed with hot water bottles.

This week I am going to bed with hot water bottles AND I've put the heating on.

Where in the name of arse has the summer gone?

Also in Devon, lying on a sheepskin with a wool blanket draped over me. Cold. Want a warming cuppa, but that would involve moving.

yanbu. I've had mine on for the odd hour over the last week and I'm in hampshire.

I'm on a training course in the North West. We had to open the fire doors today in the training room as we were too warm and it certainly isn't cold enough in my hotel room to put the heater on.

Down south. Heating on and thick winter socks to boot. My DD baby monitor reckons its 72 degrees - there's no way it is!

We put the multi fuel stove on this afternoon, Fed up of wearing an extra layer in the evening, and all the loose blankies are in the wash! West coast of Scotland here

The BBC weather site for my area says it's 18 degrees. No way. 8 degrees more like. It's so cold my eyes are playing tricks on my. Take, for instance, this photo which was taken in Scotland last week. I swear to god I can see Nessie in it. But that can't be real, can it?

I trudged to the woodshed so I could feed the woodburner. I also have on a chunky cardi and am nursing my lovely fleecey blanket - I want my old cosy warm house back! (So does DH, I was more attractively dressed back then just )
