Firstly, my boss is an utter arse of a man. He is like a cross between Del Boy and Bernard Manning, except he is thin.

Secondly, anyone daft enough to leave a sausage and bacon baguette on their desk for the best part of an hour with a labrador around deserves all they get imo.

Ha ha ha. Love this. Good that you have replaced his sandwich though. He sounds like a knob. Funny how some really awful people can be so much kinder to animals than they are to people.

She loves coming to work. I guess it is quite unusual for an office job, but nobody outside of mumsnet seems to mind.

Catthief your thread has made me laugh. My boss sometimes brings her notoriously greedy black labrador to work & usually nobody minds. One day the lab got out of the office where she sleeps most of the day, sneaked into my office, and helped herself to the contents of the bag of groceries I'd stashed under my desk . I wasn't too happy at the time, but I can see the funny side now. Good on you for replacing the sandwich. My boss didn't replace my shopping - said it was my fault for leaving it within reach
