To give my dd Innocent smoothies?

Dd2 is 12 and has dyspraxia and sensory issues which makes eating very difficult for her. She eats no fruit or veg other than a small piece of broccoli and/or apple or cucumber which I insist on but it's difficult for her.

She does like the individual Innocent smoothies so I buy those for her, she might have one or two a day certainly no more.

But then I start to worry about the sugar and how we are supposed to be cutting down on fruit juice etc.

So good or bad in these circumstances? I give her vitamin tablets too btw.

Thank you all, some great advice.

Will continue with the smoothies (obviously in moderation) for now. And will experiment with hiding veg in cakes etc.

In the meantime I'm going to get her a referral to see a dietician, I could do with some proper professional support.

Fab! yes, slowly creep some more in. :) I've managed to get DS1 from white bread only to full wholemeal without him noticing....seeds might be a step too far though...

It's only smoothies.

I miss the time when I was a kid, when kids drank fruit juice and fizzy drinks and ate junk food without hysteria. Don't know anyone in my generation who didn't turn out fine, none of them are obese.

I mean none of the people I know are. Not that nobody my age is obese.
