To think I'm going to have to burn the buggy

The cat has done a wee in it. It's a Silver Cross Wayfarer and you can't remove the covers to wash. I'm going to have to burn it aren't I? What the hell do I do?!

The cat pissed on our buggy. Cover could not come off. I made a paste of bicarb and water and slapped it on the smelly bits, left it for a few days and then hosed it off. Smell gone and cat did not do it again.

my cat did this on mine recently... twice. The first time I didn't realise that bleach and other things like that can actually make the smell worse, as it has ammonia in. which is why my cat then did it again!
second time I used bio washing powder, left it for most of the day then hosed the buggy down. That worked! Mine is only a £40 buggy though, if she had done it on my more expensive one I would have been mortified!

Would you burn it if a toddler weed in it? Or a nappy leaked? Seriously it's not a problem - try some of the solutions mentioned. fabreze is also great for smells so you can liberally spray that once you've washed it.

Once you take the cover off I assume the plastic stiffening in the seat can be slid out for washing? It's how all
Of my previous pushchairs have been.

Quick update! I washed it. The plastic structure bit wouldn't come out, so I bent the whole thing into a sort of roll and wedged it into the machine. I used bio at 50 degrees. After the first go it was loads better but still a bit iffy, but after the second it's all clean again! I soaked the frame in bicarb in the bath. Thanks Mumsnet! Saved me a fortune :)
