To think game of thrones is really hard to follow?

I'm currently at beginning of season 4 and finding it hard to follow what's going on due to a number of things.

Spoilers below if people not watched up to season 4

  • I have no idea what little finger (Lord Baelish ) is talking about . He gives little speeches but they do not make any sense. you never know what side he is on other than being creepy and slimy towards Sansa.

*i can't understand why Jon snow left the night watch and joined the wildlings and then left , was it a trick all along ?
Things don't seem to be explained that well.

*a lot of people cast look very similar and as the scenes are very low light and dark it's very hard to see who it is And what's going on.

  • a lot of the names and locations I can never remember who lives where and some of the character names sound very similar so that's confuses things.

Does anyone else find it hard to follow ?

No I can't say I have found it that hard to follow and I haven't read the books and don't intend to.

Never mind OP you have almost a year to finish season 4 and catch up on 5 and then you will be all up to speed.

It is hard (and frankly a little boring) to try keep up with the story developments when you only watch it once a week. We did a couple of binge sessions to rewatch all the previous seasons before season 4 started, and you know what? The story flows perfectly understandably when you watch episodes back to back. I realised I had missed loads of things when I was watching (zoning out) just the weekly episodes. It all makes sense now!
