I think it's part of a more general media trend, Poor. It's undoubtedly true in this case and there's no YABU/YANBU to be had about it.

BabayFeets, no, it's open again, but a ride got stuck hanging people upside down for a while so they might need to take safety even more seriously now.

Life changing injuries generally means losing an eye or a limb. Not sure if it came from Afghanistan or what.
