To think that flaccid bacon is the Devil's invention?

I am on holiday in West Wales and went out for a breakfast this morning. I was really looking forward to it, BUT THEN... It arrived and the bacon was limp.

It just lay there, pale and congealing with soggy white fat. And I thought, does anybody actually eat it like this when crispy golden bacon is such a heavenly experience?

(Yes, keyboard warriors, this is very much tongue in cheek.)

YANBU! I like it well done with a crisp rind, something that Wetherspoons chefs can't seem to manage! Hmm

I like it however it comes. Flaccid, halfway, crispy, all good to me.

(but then I like it raw too)

Flaccid anything is the Devil's invention.

Marmitelover55 · 30/06/2015 15:15

I always ask for it crispy, it's abhorrent otherwise.

Yanbu flaccid bacon has no place in society! Crispy or go away with your false bacon.

I agree with whoever above said flaccid anything is the devils work.

Flaccid bacon should be expunged from the world. Especially flaccid, pale pink bacon with little white fatty shyte on it.

You don't have to incinerate bacon to get it right but I'll take overdone any day over flaccid. In fact, I have refused to buy bacon rolls (even when very hungry indeed) if I don't like the cut of the bacon's jib.
