Surely if you were trying to flog a bed, or bunk beds, you would ensure that in the photos you took to advertise them that:

A) they were neatly made

B) none of your children were asleep in them?

I've just seen a picture of a young girl aged about 7, and unmade bunk beds strewn with what appears to be dirty washing.

Aibu to think you should make a bit of an effort if you want to sell them?

There is far worse!

MamehaSan · 29/06/2015 22:09

Maybe the small child is thrown in with the sale...?

Oh. Excellent!
You made me smile.

I would have a picture of the totally stripped bed, so the base could be seen.

No kids. No mess.

Yanbu.

Its very common.

There was a wardrobe for sale on ebay last week. All the clothes very messily thrown inside.

People trying to sell clothing that are a screwed up mess.

Childrens toys for sale and in the background a carpet that needs a good hoovering and filthy skirting boards

unless they're trying to sell the 7 year old, I wouldn't get worked up about it.

A bed's a bed - especially if you're desperate enough to be buying it on an fb selling page. It's going to be the price that dictates whether someone buys it, not the accessories in the photo.
