I was out earlier with a couple of acquaintances, just for a cuppa. I have posted before about one who I find very irritating. Actually neither is my cup of tea but I don't mind spending time with them now and again. They are very different from me, both take life pretty seriously and I just want to have a laugh. We know each other through a group we all attend.
Anyway, first lady pours out her green tea which is actually very yellow like wee wee and second lady commented on the colour, while first lady said something like "it's not what you think it is", or "it's not what it looks like". I chipped in with "no, because I just saw you pour it. First lady then gives me a bit of a glare and says "you'll put me off drinking it!"
This kind of thing pisses me off, I was only taking up on what she said and had she said nothing would have made no comment, I feel she was trying to make me feel a bit small. Whatever, I can't really be arsed with that kind of thing. I am all for a quiet life really.
I feel like texting to say something like "nice to see you both, I hope I didn't put you off your tea, I was only following up what you said, after all". I know it isn't worth it but would you bother?
