Mumsnet jury, what is this about? Product below was tampax so it's definitely not that.

Don't want to start a war about the pros and cons of fanny soap but surely an age cut off is a bit odd?

Aibu to think that under 18s should be allowed to wash their fanjos?

ThePink what on earth is in Lenor? Can you sniff Lenor and get high?

I remember being sent to walk a couple of miles on a very fraught camping trip to buy some calpol for a younger sibling when I was about 10 and being turned down. I got the blame but eventually was sent back with a post it note saying to give her the bloody calpol or something like that. Manager of Wallingford Boots circa 1994 you lost me my pocket money that week for the calpol delay.

The pregnancy tests are one of the most sensitive ones around, great for us Trying to conceive, POAS addicts who test at least once a day when our periods are due!

2 pregnancy tests for £1! That's crazy. Presumably peeing on a cotton bud is about as accurate.

They're actually good and rather sensitive. Got my BFP on one Grin

I love poundland. Waiting for our local one to start stocking their new make up range to see what it's like.

X post with Chester, yup poas addict here. Fuck clear blue and their £12 tests. I'm gonna wee on it ffs. How fancy does it need to be, bloody digital shite.

Well I stand totally corrected! I have had some amazing Poundland bargains and have a really good one near me. Not as exciting as POAS but I love the Jane Asher ceramic dishes and all the bulbs for the garden. How very middle aged.

Oooooh, is it good? I've been make up free for a while now but want some stuff for when I fancy a change and normal stuff is so prohibitive on cost for us.

I do like it when they get the end of range make up. I got some nice nail polish (maybelline and calvin k-thingy) out of there, it's the real deal.

I'm thinking it's perhaps the aerosol can beside the femfresh wash that's got the 18+ restriction?

Perhaps there is an issue in the local area with kids buzzing aerosol sprays - it was a thing when I was in school and an few local shops brought in an 18+ restriction after the school spoke to them about it.

Or as others have suggested it could be a sign from something else that has moved to another shelf.

Bair it definitely looked good but I have accidentally stockpiled more make up than a normal person could ever use so am making myself use it up rather than keeping spending money I don't have on pretty stuff! So rubbish but if I hadn't overspent in the first place blah blah. I'll be trying it when my self imposed ban is over.
Come back to the dark side though! The natural look's not for me.
Maybe we need a "good stuff we bought at Poundland thread"

When I started uni I went to buy sharp knives (to chop veg and chicken etc ..) and they refused to sell them to me saying I needed to be 21. I was almost 19, had left home and had to wait 2 weeks before being able to use a knife which was when the next housemate moved in. Ridiculous

Dh used to love femfresh wash and spray. He thought he was borrowing my shower gel and deodorant and was horrified when I told him what it was and exclaimed "so I've been going to work smelling like women's bits????"

What a load

Considering I use the Femfresh all over my pubic area and undercarriage I'm a bit hesitant to try anything else unless forced, i.e. Femfresh goes out of production.
I shall bear it in mind though, just in case.

There's not a row of lubes and such on the shelf above is there?

The weirdest age restricted product at our place is dentastix (or similar, I forget which one). Comes up as age 16 on the screen. Got to be a mistake that one...

Bair- doctor gp actually told me the cheapest pregnancy tests are exactly as accurate as the clear blue ones.

I once saw a shop that age restricted pregnancy tests to 16+. I don't know about the rest of you but I'd rather a 14 year old who thinks she might be pregnant have the opportunity to find out.

I'm in the USA. Apparently they're supposed to ID if you look under 40. I'm in my 30s and have been ID'ed once. Massive sulk.

Not quite related, a bulk food store takes 10% off for over-65's... and they never ask me for ID.

Fair enough, I suppose.

I've never been ID'd (unsure of the positioning of the apostrophe there).
Anyway, bigger sulk.

ARealPipperoo, certainly for me, I was suffering the intensely itchy effects of psoriasis/eczema which was with my pubic area. Not a good look for anyone having a good old scratch at the crotch multiple times a day.
I used Lanacane/Vagisil for a while but the daily use of Femfresh is the most effective solution I've found so far. Maintains pH, blah blah. Now, just to sort out my elbows and scalp - still not as bad to scratch my elbow in public!!!
