I am off to do some hill walking soon. I often need to wee, and though I love an al fresco wee this can be difficult when in mixed company and, in the area I go to, where there are very few trees!

I wondered if a Shewee or Whizz would help. Has anyone tried one?
I can't help feeling it would be messy, and only marginally more discreet than the usual 'squat'.

If you did find it OK, would you also think it would be suitable for young DDs?

Thanks!

I tried one at a festival and had to return to the tent twice to change my sodden knickers. Good idea but you have to perfect your technique!

Haha, sounds so relaxed, unhurried and private Mermaidhair ! And where are all those soft, absorbent leaves?

Im usually just a quick whap the breeks down, force wee out in around 3 seconds, pull up again and leap back onto path within 10 seconds, hoping no one's noticed.

The problem with my upcoming trip is lack of trees and bushes (and absorbent leaves with which to gently dab myself dry!)

I bought some disposable ones for T in The Park many years ago.
They were a bit difficult to get the hang of (mind block, as others have mentioned) and there was quite a bit of leakage / spillage at the "point of entry.

If I was hill walking I don't think I'd bother tbh, I'd be happy enough to go behind a bush while someone else kept watch for passers by!

My DW has a sheewee.
We are very outdoorsy people, we have a farm, are always off walking, riding, fishing miles from civilization so she bought one a few years ago.

She said her only regret was not getting one sooner.
