To think I could have a blood clot?!

A week last Friday I went to office party, I remember everything and wasn't THAT drunk. I stayed at my dads and woke up in a lot of pain in my neck. I put it down to sleeping awkwardly. Here we are 10 days later and the pain is extreme. Naproxen and Paracetamol not working, pain has gone into my shoulder, and now in arm.

Doctor suggested I pulled my neck (I am having physio at present, after which made the pain worse).

Should I go to A&E?

Bear in mind solpadiene has paracetamol in so don't take together with paracetamol.

I agree ice pack and regular ibuprofen .

I also wouldn't think a clot, more likely trapped nerve/pulled muscle.

I had this, sorry but it took nearly 6 weeks for me to fully recover, I was taking naproxen twice a day with codeine for the pain.
Naproxen is a very strong anti inflammatory please don't mix it with ibuprofen.
Ice packs, painkillers and lots of rest and patience are needed, but if you need medical assurance call the out of hours GP, don't go to a&e
