to really want an Erin Condren life planner even though they're ridiculously expensive?

but they're sooooooo gorgeous!

DH said, and I can't blame him, that $50 is just a stupid price for an organiser but pointed out that I just went back to work, so if I want it I should just go for it.

My current planner is falling to pieces after just one year (it's an 18 months one) and I do need to find something sturdier. It's just that every time I go on the website, I half just turn into a puddle of stationery lust and dream that I can just buy everything, and half turn pale at the expense.

I know IAB a little bit U but really, I just don't think that site is being fair, what with all the gorgeousness Blush

Can you not use an app? I find cozi quite good... I can sync with my dh and assign him tasks AND reminders Grin heh heh heh

Can't get on the site - but if it's thr rose gold one you're looking at, there're almost sold out.

I looked and looked and looked some more but couldn't justify the price - I've just ordered a plum paper planner which is much more customisable.

Now I'm trying to not buy all the stickers!

Yeah, it comes to £32, which is not that bad.

I have tried all sorts of diaries over the years, and I am still learning what works best for me.

I found Filofax too small, and for some reason, I just cannot get on with using my phone to record appointments etc. It's completely a matter of personal preference but I need the paper and pen and the flexibility that brings.

To be honest, I don't need a planner for work, at least not yet. But as of last March I'm at work part-time, I've got one child who will start school in September and I am also studying part-time so I can start my own business eventually. I need a place that holds everything, where I can pretty much see every day at a glance including dinner plans, otherwise I know I'm going to forget half the things I'm supposed to do. I've found the 'family planner' suits me best but the options are limited. Although, having looked at personal-planner.com, I do like their options.

I spend a lot on filofaxes so I can only encourage Grin I am not keen on the Lifeplanner ones though, maybe I'm just used to my own system now though.

They really do look like WHSmiths or Paperchase stuff. Nothing special.

These days I keep all that stuff on my phone, which works for me and makes it easy to share diary, lists etc with family members.

Ten (or even five) years ago, I might have coveted a paper organiser.

What did make me smile is that my two older children have a very similar (if plainer) homework diary / planner provided by the school for £2.
