I live in hot country, it's north of 30oc most days - only way to do it is loose tops and a muslin draped over your arm so their neck doesnt get sweaty in the crook of your arm (for your comfort frankly!)

Also muslin between your bodies. That being said, I never found it unbearable unless outside but we have year round air conditioning which makes it far more comfortable.

Smoosh yes she does 'survive the day' she usually only feeds early morning and during evening storytime. Although since hot weather she had been picking up another feed either when I get home from work or after dinner.

Beans been ( sorry) wearing normal bras to work but getting a dull ache so have to switch back to nursing /unwired bras

i wouldn't put a muslim between you-it would make the heat even worse and they probably wouldn't like it

I remember this...whatever you do, don't settle down for the lengthy afternoon boob-snooze whilst wearing shorts on a leather sofa...sticky!

gym she probably wouldn't, no. I tried putting a cuddly toy in her hand when feeding so she could use it as a comfort association but she would chuck it and go back to fiddling with my other nipple.

Haha! I had two little skin tags that DS2 managed to twiddle off while feeding. I wouldn't let his fiddling fingers anywhere near my other nipples after that

Argh I wish I hadn't read this thread, DD was born in nov so I bf over the summer and had stopped by the following June. DC2 is due in 3 weeks and the thought of bf-ing in the heat has been worrying me

Yes, right off! I didn't mind really. The twiddling drove me nuts, so once they were gone I was a lot happier!
