To think that a discussion board called "Fat People Hate" shouldn't be allowed?

On Reddit...a popular site whose tagline is "The Front Page of The Internet" there's a "sub-reddit" called "Fat People Hate."

I stumbled across it and am just open mouthed that it's actually allowed.

I know how important free speech is...but really? An entire sub dedicated to hating people who are overweight?

I want to complain to Reddit but somehow...I just know they'll ingore me. It's a very "laddish" site really...main demographic is 18-30 I think...there are however some AMAZING sub-reddits on the site which I really enjoy...but knowing they allow this sub just puts me off using them!

I won't link but it's pages and pages of hateful words and pics dedicated to putting people who are overweight down. Those who want to join the sub are expected to prove they're not overweight or they're not allowed. It's so low...why? Why are they allowed?

Noone here seems to use /r/unitedkingdom /r/British lion or even the local town subs

Swig I like the unexplained type subs myself and What is This Thing.

I'm not brave enough to post on reddit but I do like it. I subscribe to some tv subs, unexplained mysteries and some others.Reddit appeals to my darker side :D
