Please help, DH is on his way home with an empty cat basket. Our old boy developed heart failure and he took him in this morning.
We have had him PTS.
How do I tell DD (3) she adores him. She told me this morning he is her bestest friend. She is going to be devastated.

What do I say? How do I word it? Please help!!!

Thank you so so so much!! Sorry I am only just posting. We had a direct chat and I avoided 'gone to sleep' or 'medicine' and just said he was poorly and had died and we wouldn't see him again.

She was upset for about 5 seconds and then wandered off but she has mentioned it a couple of times. We don't have faith but this is one time I wish I did.
