Arnold clark after sales

I am beyond the end of my tether. Ongoing complaint since March and called today to see why no response and they have closed the complaint as resolved! Without telling me this or more importantly, bloody resolving the complaint.

How these companies are still in business shocks me. Aibu to think the only way these companies actually bother dealing with issues is if they're named and shamed?. Is this what people need to resort too? Has anyone had any positive resolution stories from dealing with large car stores? Losing the will to live with them.

I dodged an Arnold Clark shaped bullet by the sounds of it! I was looking for my first car, and spotted an aygo in AC. Went home, read more about them and decided I wanted a test drive. Phoned AC on the Thursday afternoon asking to test drive on the Friday afternoon. Was told that as cars needed moving to get the aygo out of the showroom it would have to be a morning test drive. I can't do mornings, I work nights, it'll have to be after lunch. Bit of debate on the phone with the girl who kept telling me it was unsafe to move cars around the lot at lunchtime, I pointed out they could move it in the morning and I'd just take it out at lunchtime, but no. Had to be a morning test drive. I said forget it and didn't look again at their website...!

They're unreal. They clearly don't learn from mistakes and treat customers with total contempt of there's any issues. They don't want to know.

I'll live and learn and never give them business again.

Hi can anyone help me in the right direction my grandson bought a car from Arnold Clark Glenrothes in January it has been back to garage for a Gearbox gear replacement they removed gear box fixed it and replaced n/s/f wing liner and suspension arm as wrong arm was on it then it had to go back for a new lambda sensor his 3month warranty has run out as a good gesture they have given him a free mot and service next year it now has another problem feel my grandson has been totally ripped of he has lost all faith in this motor can he get his money back totally gutted as this is his first can £8.000 HELP

Another one agreeing that they are a shower of bastards. I won't use them again.
