AIBU to believe this gender predictin old wives tail?

Ovulated from left side the month our dd was conceived.

old wives tale says left for girl, right for boy but dr friends think that is rubbish.

who is right?

I don't believe in it but my one boy was the only time I ovulated from the right. 3 girls = all left.

I ovulated from the left in my last pregnancy and the right this time. Last time I had dd and this time we don't know yet.

The theory in the op sounds like nonsense.

However, there isa theory which says that although the sperm determines the sex of the baby, the conditions in the woman's body can favour either male or female sperm. The males are generally faster but shorter lived, whereas the females are slower but live longer. Therefore if you have sex just as you are ovulating, a faster male sperm is likely to win. If you have sex, then ovulate a few days later, the female sperm are more likely to still be hanging around.
