The thread did end up being hilarious, but that was down to the other posters ripping the piss, rather than the wit of the OP. I assume it started off as a straight trolling and then they got a bit too desperate and transparent and realised that no one was fooled, so the bizarro Fresh Prince thing inexplicably happened to make it look like it was meant to be a joke all along. Don't really understand what the OP gets from doing it, apart from the reflected glory of other people's humour.
Still, MN ticking us all off for calling troll even after the Fresh Prince shark-jumping as they were absolutely certain the OP was for real was too too funny.
