oh bless you all - she sort of surprised herself with her voice, she has never really shown any interest in singing before then sort of realised she could sing, started messing about with her DP's guitar and then i bought her one for xmas. I am 
that she can play it even, i can just about manage twinkle little star!
She is happy to be doing it as a hobby and isn't planning on making a career from it, she loves doing the open mike stuff and was thrilled when she was asked to sing as part of a daytime thing in a pub and got paid - all of a tenner :)
I am so proud of her, none of her friends were around on her first open mike event and she wouldnt let her DP go because she gets the giggles when he watches her play so she pitched up all on her own!
Sorry, she is my PFB :) her little sister likes to sing (she is only 9) but very honestly i don't think she will be following in her big sisters footsteps (earplugs!!)
