DH thinks 9pm is OK but I think that's too late. Yep these are arguments debates we have these days, our lives are that exciting. Anyhow what is the MN verdict?

Earlier than 9am or later than 8pm is bloody inconsiderate imo.

Like the sound of your dog warden, Vivien Grin

I'd say about 8. Although, our neighbours were using a stihl saw at quarter to 9 last night Hmm

9am-8pm round here, but retirees both sides of us so I could probably go later. I did it around 8 last night and was disturbed by my DS shouting at me out of his bedroom window that "some of us are trying to relax round here". He's 6 cheeky little shit

The council here comes round and mows the verges from 7 am on a weekday. So i guess 7 is the earliest. The latest 10pm maybe?

Can people explain how they think after 7pm is unreasonable!!

From a selfish point of view I don't like lawn mowers / noise after about 7.30pm because I have young DC that I struggle to get in bed when it's still daylight in the summer - and if they hear people out in their gardens esp the noisy kids next door then it can add on an extra hour of faffing at bedtime before my dc go to sleep.
