How much is the right amount of money

So, I am being genuinely curious here. This is not a goady thead. What is the correct amount of money a person can have and be left wing at the same time?

I hear, a lot, that Russell Brand is a phoney because he is rich. The rich, if they care so much, should give all their money away. Etc.

But then, if you are poor and left wing, you are envious and jealous, and should work hard.

So, please, what is the correct amount of money to have to think capalism sucks without being accused of being fake or jealous?

Socialism means believing that everyone should have access to decent healthcare/housing/schools. It doesn't mean that everyone should have exactly the same amount of money, only that there should be a decent basic standard and equality of opportunity.

To tell a rich socialist to give all their money away is stupid - it would do nothing to address the basic inequalities of life. You would just have one more poor person!

I think you can have lots of money and still be 'left wing' and want a fair and just society with free at the point of contact healthcare, education etc and a decent social security safety net.

Having a well paying job and enjoying nice holidays etc (while not dodging tax) doesn't make you an inherently bad person.

Plenty of people who earn decent money vote for political parties that would make themselves worse off but believe in the greater good for society.
