It just made me wonder as on the dentist website is says emergencies are aimed to be seen within 24 hours and I can see from what your telling me, they don't class this as an emergency even if I do and. Am freaking out about it

No problem at all. The reason my tooth broke was because I was so terrified of the dentist I hadn't been in 15years so I totally understand why you're worried. It was absolutely fine for me-anaesthetics and dental techniques have moved on a lot so it was nowhere near as bad as I thought. Good luck with getting it sorted.

Why the
@@@@ did I think chomping on ice was a good idea
It's so bloody hard it's idiotic really

Mine was a very expensive mint humbug!!!

magimedi · 07/05/2015 15:17

Mine was an apple & I thought they were healthy!

I had wisdom teeth surgically removed on a Friday. On the Sunday I was climbing walls with pain and being sick and had taken more painkillers than I should have and I called ooh as thought it might be a dry socket and was told there was no availability so I'd just have to suffer and try to see dentist the next day. Luckily on the Sunday night I felt better, pain doesn't even get you seen.

broke one of my molars (side sort of came off) luckily only had to wait from Saturday til Tuesday to get it sorted and thankfully no pain, dentist rebuilt it in minutes.

CatSwag · 07/05/2015 19:56

hell how did he rebuild it, did that tooth have a filling?

I would be even more annoyed if I did it on an apple!

The other one I broke was rebuilt. He took the old filling out and built a new one up in layers. There was a massive bit of it missing and I thought I'd lose it. It is amazing what they can do these days.
