to vote UKIP just to remind Rusell Brand I don't need his advice?

I won't - but I really don't want that malodorous, lanky, streak of donkey snot offering voting advice all over the media. And, yes, I know from personal experience that he is malodorous. You can, of course, beg to differ about "lanky" and "donkey snot".

Every UKIP voter I've ever come across has the brain of a pea.

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 05/05/2015 09:45

Yes exactly, why do we need to keep these rich people who contribute fuck all?

And I think if it had been "carefully orchestrated" then he probably would of endorsed Labour before the time expired to register to vote.

ArtDecoGirly · 05/05/2015 09:51

I can't stand Russell Brand but anyone that can get more votes for Ed and get these awful Tories out can just crack on for the next few days!

AlpacaLypse · 05/05/2015 10:01

Providing services to higher rate taxpaying bracket households is about 80% of my business. Nearly half of our business is from households who appear to be in the 200K + income bracket.

Obviously I don't know the full details of my client's incomes, but based on homes, cars, school and holiday choices that's my estimate.

In return DP and I are doing very comfortably and employ eight part time staff all on Living wage.

UnoPan · 05/05/2015 10:03

We need to keep the rich in the country and voting anything but conservative will be an economic disaster for England as a whole.

erm..1. the country is the U.K. 2. We don't need to keep the rich in the country, we need to generate wealth from the work we do, not have it skimmed off by 'the rich'. 3. UK is the low wage ecomony of Europe - we have derteriorating living standards, despite Tories inheriting a growing economy in 2010. Tories have screwed up the potential of this country and shouldn't be allowed to do any further damage.

AlpacaLypse · 05/05/2015 10:04

Or to put it in nice simple easy to understand words, we need rich people because they pay ordinary people to do stuff for them.

KidLorneRoll · 05/05/2015 10:04

It's a toughie. It's hard to know which is the bigger twat out of RB and Farage.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 05/05/2015 10:07

You shouldn't take the advice of any celebrity on which way to vote .

Instead you should read all the manifestoes and decide which one you like best, while accounting for the fact they are probably lying about at least half the pledges.
Sadly this means I can't vote UKIP, as their Scottish campaign manifesto launch was marred by the fact that the manifesto was lost in the post
Grin

UnoPan · 05/05/2015 10:07

Low wage btw means low tax take which means poorer public services which means more privatisation.....which means more exclusion for poorer people and so maximise profits in those services for the investors. That is one of the reasons why Tories deliberately generate a low wage economy.

We don't need rich people Alpaca - you might need them to suck up to and rely on them, but that's your bed.

UnoPan · 05/05/2015 10:08

and of course re the OP there is never a reason to vote UKIP. Ever.

grovel · 05/05/2015 10:10

The OP did say that she wouldn't vote UKIP in the first sentence of the main text.

OP posts:
nettlewine · 05/05/2015 10:12

I'm kinda tempted to vote ukip as a vote for change, love them or hate them they have changed the face of politics in the UK and made it a lot more interesting.

UnoPan · 05/05/2015 10:12

Yes we know.

But EVEN IF you voted UKIP, how would RB know you did it t oshow you don't need his advice?

Branleuse · 05/05/2015 10:14

As if Russell Brand gives a flying fuck about you?

If you vote UKIP, you are a spectacular cunt though, but YEAH, teach russell brand a lesson.

Mamus · 05/05/2015 10:14

Far, far worse people offer voting advice! The thing with advice is that you can ignore it. Just as I can ignore Tories, UKIP fannies and the like :)

irretating · 05/05/2015 10:16

If RB told you to drink water because it's good for you, would you drink your own urine just to spite him?

Hoppinggreen · 05/05/2015 10:18

I really dislke Russell Brand
I really dislike Ed Milliband.
I dislke Nigel Farage even more so yes YABU

UnoPan · 05/05/2015 10:19

How about voting Labour despite his advice. Faaar more radical reaction.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 05/05/2015 10:23

Somewhere OP Russell Brand is sobbing big fat tears because you no likey him [sadface] [cwying]

RedToothBrush · 05/05/2015 10:28

Brand clearly craves attention.
He got it from Miliband.
So now he loves him.

Its that simple.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 05/05/2015 10:35

RB must smell amazing because that can be the only sensible explanation for so many women lusting after him when he looks like he needs a good wash.

I think with Miliband he'd wake up in the night fretting about the job and making sure he was living up to the enormous responsibility, whereas some of the others you know would sleep soundly cocooned in their own smug self righteousness.

OutragedFromLeeds · 05/05/2015 10:58

YABU

Why watch RB if you don't like him? Don't like, don't watch it. It's really not that hard.

He is entitled to broadcast his opinions, as we all are.

I genuinely think RB believes the nonsense he spouts btw. I don't think he is involved in some kind of conspiracy theory re. the not voting/voting Labour thing. The deadline to register to vote has passed anyway, so it would be a crap conspiracy....unless the conspiracy is to drive Labour voters into the arms of UKIP, in which case it seems to be working OP Wink.

HoneyDragon · 05/05/2015 11:16

If RB told you to drink water because it's good for you, would you drink your own urine just to spite him?

Yes Grin

Sparklingbrook · 05/05/2015 11:33

I love RB but he is not to be taken seriously most of the time.
